We keep stock of most of our popular products and can give those to you in the clinic or post them to you. If we need to order a product, you will normally receive it within a few days.

How do I know which products will best suit my skin?

In most cases, we will invite you for a consultation with one of our aesthetic doctors. Our doctors are friendly, knowledgeable and experts in their field – they will quickly put you at ease and get to know you and your skin.

If necessary, they will also perform a Visia computerised skin analysis to obtain a thorough understanding of the condition of your skin and to pre-empt any future issues. This enables the doctor to create a bespoke plan for your individual skin and will consist of skincare products and / or treatments, depending on what will best achieve your desired outcome – whether that is to address particular skin concerns or simply to maintain a great complexion.

What is a Visia computerised skin analysis?

Visia’s gold-standard technology is widely used in our industry worldwide because it gives such a detailed understanding of skin, both externally and below the surface. Visia measures pigmentation, UV spots, age spots, red areas, wrinkles, texture, pores, porphyrins, and sun damage, to help us to analyse how best to care for your skin. It also grades your results in relation to people of your age group and skin type, comparing your biological age with your skin age.

You might not be concerned about skin ageing, of course, but, most importantly, this data gives us a really good idea of how to ensure your good skin health. We may also refer back to this quantitative data during your treatment plan, to ascertain how your skin is improving.

Do I need to have a skincare consultation before ordering?

This depends. The products we use are cosmeceutical–grade, professional skincare and we normally assess your skin in person – or during an online consultation – to ascertain which will most effectively treat any concerns you have and deliver the results you wish to achieve.

There are a few exceptions, however – for example, we wouldn’t normally need to see you regarding an SPF product. We are always happy to discuss any questions by phone or email and can book you in for a consultation if and when needed.

What are cosmeceutical skincare products?

Cosmeceutical products are a cross between a cosmetic and a pharmaceutical product. Essentially, they are well-researched, clinically-tested skincare which contain biologically-active compounds proven to have a pharmaceutical effect on the skin i.e. they deliver demonstrable results. They look and feel similar to other skincare but are targeted to treat specific skin types and concerns, hence you will be advised which are most suitable for you to obtain best results.

Cosmeceutical skincare requires a slightly higher investment than many high street skincare lines but are more economical than some designer brands. Ultimately, you would expect to see a significant improvement in your skin from using a cosmeceutical skincare regime.
